Summer Hockey: Important Reminders

We're excited to kick off the summer season, which will see the resumption of the Women's League, the return of Grade 4 Senior League, and the continuation of Masters and other Senior Leagues.

We'd like everyone to have a great season and wanted to remind all players of their responsibilities. We’re all here to have fun and play ice hockey with our mates – let's make sure we remember these simple rules:

• You, your teammates, your opponents, and the officials all want the same thing: an enjoyable game. Please be respectful to all.
• Spitting is not allowed in Alpine Ice. Drinking alcohol and smoking/vaping in the locker room is prohibited. Please abide by all Alpine Ice policies. Players and/or teams will be fined if these rules are violated. 
• You must abide by the CIHA Code of Conduct.
• Additional resources: IIHF Rule Book and NZIHF Disciplinary Regulations.

Let’s keep things competitive but fun and importantly: respect the officials and Alpine Ice staff and facilities that are all critical to our sport.
