(1) Considering only games in which tied teams played, highest regular season round robin points per game, (2) considering all games played, best average goal differential per game (goals scored minus goals allowed, with a maximum of +5 or -5 per game), (3) highest average goals scored per game, (4) coin toss. Once any of these rules breaks a tie, teams are reseeded and the rules reapplied from the beginning for any remaining tied teams.
